Though we initially started exclusively as a promotional organization for the blacktip reef shark (Carcharhinus melanopterus), our mission has expanded to all sharks found in the Carcharhinus family.

Sharks are one of the main things that help keep the ocean clean, prey populations under control, and drive a lot of tourism. Human actions have caused many species to become endangered, threatened, or on the verge or extinct. Without sharks, there are no oceans worth exploring. Without the oceans, humans will not survive.
